Matthew –
Thanks for the feedback. I hadn’t seen
this issue and no one raised it at today’s coordination call.
I will adjust based on your feedback.

As to whether the market is order driven or quote
driven, etc., there is significant sensitivity in the broker-dealers about this
- as I am reminded by the business heads. Realistically we cannot broker a deal
on the direction of the market, and will end up enabling a broad spectrum of
options i.e. supporting many ways of working, just like FIX.

[fpml-coord] FpML pre-trade business process
review
|
|
At today’s coordination committee meeting, I was asked to put together a
list of areas that we should review in the FpML pre-trade coverage.
I put
together this preliminary document (see attached), which focuses on some areas
where we could potentially expand FpML’s pre-trade coverage. It doesn’t
yet talk about the process we would need to use to do this, which would
presumably include reviewing other standards (especially FIX), talking with
trading platforms, etc.
Please
let me know any comments you may have.
Regards,
Brian[attachment
