Hi Marc: I agree with your rationale for this
change and I second your proposal. This one is also on the agenda for the
Wednesday call – we should be able to move with this proposed change as
well. If anyone on the mailing list has concerns with this change, please raise
those concerns on the call or on this e-mail list before the call. Ben Lis Head of Product Management &

Gratacos Hi Ben, Rule cd-1b says: cd-1b (Mandatory) Preconditions: CreditIndex tradeHeader/tradeDate must be equal or after
creditDefaultSwap/generalTerms/effectiveDate/unadjustedDate. I’d suggest adjusting the rule to: cd-1b (Mandatory) Preconditions: CreditIndex If
creditDefaultSwap/generalTerms/effectiveDate/unadjustedDate is present,
tradeHeader/tradeDate must be equal or after
creditDefaultSwap/generalTerms/effectiveDate/unadjustedDate. The rationale for this adjustment is that in some index confirms
the effective date is not present since referencing the index and the series is
enough to know the effective date of the index. That’s why is optional in
the schema. Does this make sense? Kind Regards, -Marc +13472846531 **************************************************************************************************************************
