Reporting View Teleconference - Monday
June 1, 2009
Goal: The existing three drafts for FpML
version 5.0 show the ability to generate products and messages that are
applicable to a particular business area: pre-trade, confirmation, or reporting.
However, most of the current definitions in FpML belong to the confirmation
area, which has been the focus of the standard since its inception. The
OTC derivatives industry has shown interest to use FpML for reporting processes
including portfolio reconciliation and collateral management, but the existing
product definitions haven't been adapted to fully support such processes.
The existing processes for reporting in FpML are still using the product
definitions for legally confirm the transactions.
We will host an open meeting on Monday June
1 from 9 AM to 10 AM New York Time to discuss how to further develop the
Reporting view in FpML version 5.0.
Date: Monday June 1, from 9 AM to 10 AM
New York Time.

Materials will be distributed later this
week.
Feel free to invite members of your organizations
that may be interested in this topic.
Thanks and Regards,
Marc
