FpML-IM-Custodian Technical Teleconference 2009-06-03 minutes



 
The WG held a conference call on Wed June 3rd noon Eastern.

Agenda and minutes:
  • Update from SwiftNet Derivatives Users Group
    • The service will support the Standard European CDS to be launched June 20.
    • For all standard CDS the protectionTerms/creditEvents/restructuring element will be allowed, to align with actual practice.
    • Briefly recap of several proposals in place for 4.6 and 5.0, including bilateral contract amendments, non-trade contract changes, and payment details.
    • If the FpML 4.6 Recommendation is available in Aug, the service will support testing in April 2010 at the latest.  It would be live in early July 2010.
  • Update from the FpML Modeling Task Force 
    • Continued FpML 5.0 and some parallel 4.6 work
  • Messaging Proposals conference call Thu Jun-4 10-11am Eastern.  888-481-3032 code 751365.  Two topics planned: 
    • Messaging Proposals - Marc Gratacos distributed the presentation document to the various FpML working groups.
    • Migration from contract to trade messages (Andrew Jacobs).  The presentation will be distributed before the call.
