FpML-IM-Custodian Technical Teleconference 2009-06-17 minutes

The WG held a conference call on Wed June 17 noon Eastern.

Attendees:
Marc Gratacos - ISDA
Stephen White - State Street
Lucio Iida - BGI
Robert Stowsky - Progress

Agenda and minutes:

  • Follow-up to the Jun-4 FpML MTF presentation on Messaging Proposals and Migration of Contract Messages.  Both documents were distributed to this group.  The audio recording is available at   http://www.fpml.org/documents/483239B798842VR773051DM26.wav.
    • The group reviewed the Jun 4 conference call.  All present members attended the call.  We mentioned follow-up conference calls to more targeted audiences, in particular the SwiftNet Derivatives Users Group.
    • Marc elaborated on the 5.0 views.  The reporting view takes the confirmation view as a base and trims down as required.  Task forces may be created to refine these at the product level.
  • Update on the FpML Coordination Committee's review of the Payment Breakdown proposal from the IM-Custodian WG.
    • The group discussed the objections to the proposed Payment Breakdown proposal.  It recommended that it be made more strict and targeted to the IM-Custodian needs.  It also requested more information on the usage.  Stephen mentioned the break of STP when interest and value were not available in the accounting process.
    • Action items:
      • Lucio to send proposal documents to Stephen and Stephen to review and elaborate on how the information would be used.
      • Marc and Lucio to review the proposed schema changes and trim down.
  •  AOB
    • None.
  • Next meeting Wed July 1st noon Eastern.
