FpML 4.4 Working Draft 3 http://www.fpml.org/spec/2007/wd-fpml-4-4-2007-12-24/ released on December 24 includes the publication of the initial schema agreed by the working group, a set of documentation (see section 14 of the spec), as well as a set of examples for loans. Before the publication we updated all examples we found based on the latest version of the schema. See attached zip file containing schemas and examples (look at loan folder).

I am suffering from the flu and am unable to run the loan working group tomorrow. I am hoping to still have an offline meeting with JP Morgan (Steve Golikov) at 11am on Wednesday. Dial-in to be confirmed. All are welcome.

In terms of remaining action items we have:

-       Update of all existing XML examples

-       Completion of business validations

-       Decision as to whether to try and incorporate a loan underlyer product

-       Action items from coordination committee (primarily updated examples)

Sorry for the last minute notice and myself/Steven will be sending out updates later in the week.

Documents to be delivered:

-       Updated business spec for Phase 1

-       Creation of business spec for Phase 2

-       Updated XML examples

-       Resynchronized version of the schema and business spec (should already be mostly up to date)

Please note the business meetings will be resuming next Wednesday.
