Clearing Fields (CME Proposal)

========================

We discussed Matt’s updated proposal.

We agreed to all of the proposed fields.

Brian will propose a structure to hold settlement information on reports, including the proposed fields.

Brian will propose adding an optional “cleared date” element to the trade header at the next Coordination Committee meeting.

Entity modeling

============

We discussed the entity modeling paper.

Chris Funck sees this as being a  good fit and hopefully can bring knowledge to bear.  He will look internally to see if some resources can be brought into this.

For 1057 reporting, they need to do credit value adjustment for counterparty risk.  This suggests that perhaps we should provide additional fields to report credit value adjustments, and adjusted valuations.

- Chris will follow up on what is passed on to counterparties

Martin Sexton – Simon Latham Porter used to work on the ISO WG on business entity identifier… will follow up with him to see if he is interested in participating.  Also has another potential contact that might be interested in this, currently using MDDL.

Marc G. – will look into FIX’s support for entity relationships.

In general, the level of interest in this topic from the group was only moderate;  Brian will leave this open until next week to see if there is additional interest from non-attendees.

Product Direction Classification

========================

We discussed this issue briefly, and concluded that at this time there is not sufficient interest in adding any kind of direction indicator to proceed.
