Martin Sexton has modeled up the
FIX Party Details List Report in a UML model, that can help to clarify the
relationships. If you download and open this,
click the index.htm in the documentation folder. I particularly
recommend the PartyDetailsReport diagram - I’ve attached a screen shot
for the impatient. From:
msexton@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:msexton@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Hi Brian, I’ve been racking my brain as
to how best to supply the business entity material supported by the
PartyDetailsListReport component in FIX. Given the levels of hierarchy, it is
difficult to get a feel for this using the FIXimate front-end, or the PDF
equivalent printout. Therefore please find a link
to a zip file that contains a number of ways of representing the
material, including: 1.
the PDF created from FIXimate, 2.
an alternative HTML view
(generated from a UML model) 3.
an XML Schema equivalent to 2.
with embedded documentation (generated from a UML model using the ISO 20022
methodology). Installation Instructions: 1. Click on Link to download: http://www.londonmarketsystems.com/FpML/PartyDetailsListReport.ZIP 2. Unzip 3. Run readme.htm in the
PartyDetailsListReport directory. Kind regards, Martin Sexton London Market Systems Limited 68
