    We checked the generation scripts that we distribute on each specification. We found that some .bat files should be removed from distribution to avoid confusion. This is the analysis:

    To be removed from distribution:
    do-all.bat
    gen-hierarchy.bat
    tidy-schema.bat
    generate-view-examples.bat
    tidy-examples.bat
    tidy-example.bat
    gen-trans-examples.bat
    generate-example.bat
    generate-examples.bat

    To distribute
    copyXML.bat
    add-schema-version.bat
    add-schema-versions.bat
    detildes.bat
    env.bat
    gen-extension-schema-for-view.bat
    gen-trans.bat
    tidy-schemas

    With these, you should be able to generate the view schemas from the master schema.

    We are going to update the 5.7 WD1, 5.7 WD2, and 5.x recommendations scripts.
