Summary

FpML currently supports placing an order with a single market participant. We need FpML to support placing an order with a market. The main additional type will be the taking of the order from the market.

    • For the whole process you need to place orders, remove orders, etc.
    • There was a proposal discussed within the FpML Business Process Working Group but there was no interest to move it into implementation.
    • The parts implemented by exchanges are already supported by FpML including the order status and the clearing messages.
