Summary

In Confirmation View 5.9, averagePriceLeg element, tags like commodity, quantityReference, pricingStartDate and calculation are mandatory. In Recordkeeping View 5.5 and 5.9, these fields are optional.

I require information on the type of data that are expected to be populated in the tags of commodity, quantityReference, pricingStartDate and calculation. What would be the format of the data populated here? Could you provide some sample messages with these tags populated to demonstrate how these tags appear in the final generated FpML message?

    • Marc to look for a commodityForward with averaging example.
    • Agreement to make the changes to Recordkeeping (commodity within averagePrice should be required) but in the next minor version, not in 5.11.

    Made averagePriceLeg/commodity required in the Recordkeeping view. This change has been implemented in SVN and it will be published in the next minor release of FpML.
