The FpML Editor/Viewer is available free to ISDA Members, and is purchasable by Non-Members. You can login to download or purchase the tool at the Editor/Viewer Download Page.

The FpML Editor/Viewer allows FpML trades to be created from scratch, loaded from a local file, or loaded from the World Wide Web. Based on the Internet Explorer web browser and Microsoft XSLT, the editor provides high quality editing features, such as drop-down lists, radio buttons and checkboxes, and collapsing/expanding sections to support editing of complex trades. FpML trades created in the editor can be saved to a local file or uploaded to a web server. The editor is template-driven and uses CSS stylesheets for formatting to allow easy customization and rapid incorporation of new products and product features.

Download the FpML Editor/Viewer for version 5.1

This version of the Editor/Viewer covers all new products and product features introduced in FpML 5.1. This includes support for FpML versions 1.0 – 5.1:
Note: version 5.x, currently only supports confirmation view.
  • Support for confirmation view of versions 5.0 and 5.1, including:
  • Changes to product representations for version 5.x, such as the elimination of most empty elements in CDS
  • Refactored FX product representations in version 5.1, and new FX product features
  • Support for the version 5.x messaging framework and all version 5.0 and 5.1 confirmation view messages
  • An enhanced launch page that allows selection of the business process, message, and event type for each message

  • Support for new FpML versions 4.x features, including:
  • New netted trade cash flow messages
  • Support for commodity products (Cash-settled swaps and options, Physically settled swaps and options, and Bullion forwards).
  • Support for additional Commercial loans messages (Rollover, Pricing Change, L/C).
  • Support for contract amended and contract changed messages.
  • Support for New Equity products variations (support for EU [Client] Index Swap, EU [Interdealer] Share Swap Pan Asia [Interdealer] Index Swap, US [Client] Options), EU [Interdealer] Fair Value Share Swap, 2010 EMEA EM [Interdealer] Option.
  • Addition of 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, 4.8, 4.9 to supported versions on the launch page
