The following issues are known in the FpML 5.7 Recommendation, 23 February 2015:

*** Note: In version 5.8 and later, the schema has been tightened to improve data quality but potentially making FpML instances based on version 5.7 or earlier forward incompatible. However, the backward incompatible changes introduced in 5.8 should not invalidate any existing, meaningful document.

Scope of Changes: In regulatory reporting views, some structures were tightened to make the schema less ambiguous, improve guidance for implementers and improve data quality. Some products have been tightened. Some key identifiers have been made non-empty (If supplied, they are not allowed to be empty anymore.)

4 Build Number

The current build number for FpML 5.7 Recommendation, 23 February 2015. is: 7

Every time there is a change on the schema, validation rules, or examples within a version the actual build number is incremented. If no changes have been made between releases within a version (i.e. from Trial Recommendation to Recommendation) the actual build number stays the same. The build number is published at:
