Summary
I'd like to have the schema published for each view, * merged into one file * stripped of comments (which should be for devs, not users) * including annotation/documentation (which is for users) * sorted by kind, then name, with global elements first.
Benefits: * Easier to find item in a single schema with documentation using plain text search, whether for a name or description. * Easier to compare schema across versions and views.

A merged schema is already provided for each view. See Merged FpML Schema link for each view.

I agree that the published schema should not contain comments inserted by the view generation process.

Agreement to publish a new merged schema with annotations/documentation. This will be available in 5.9 Last Call Working Draft and onwards.
