Publication of a new set of FpML Coding Schemes – Catalog Version 2-26
The International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) has published a new basic and enhanced coding-scheme catalog version 2-26 published on June 29, 2026. Below are the changes compared to the previous version 2-25 published on May 22, 2026.
- The following coding schemes have been updated:
- priceQuoteUnitsScheme
- A new unit of measure, NAR (Net arroba) has been added to priceQuoteUnitsScheme.
- Net arroba: A unit of weight equal to 15 kilograms, used primarily in Brazilian livestock markets to measure carcass weight.

- commodityReferencePriceScheme
- The CommodityReferencePriceScheme has been updated to reflect changes to Sub-Annex A of the 2005 ISDA Commodity Definitions (v7 published June 29th).
- 145 new CRPs added. 46 new Agriculture CRPs, 81 new Energy (Electricity) CRPs and 18 new Energy (Natural Gas) CRPs
- 193 CRPS updated. 192 deprecated and 1 corrected for Start Date.

- floatingRateIndexScheme
- The floatingRateIndexScheme has been fixed to ensure metadata is consistently available across all FROs (specifically, field "docReference" was added consistently.)
- ISDA2000 FROs updated to show enhanced metadata consistently.
- This technical cleanup does not affect the list of FROs compared to the previous version. No new FRO codes have been added or updated.
