ISDA FpML Survey 2026 – Request for Member Input
Dear FpML Community Member,
ISDA is pleased to invite members to participate in the FpML Survey 2026. The purpose of this survey is to gather industry input on how FpML is currently used, where challenges remain, and how the standard should continue to evolve to meet market needs.
The survey will provide a critical input into forthcoming FpML roadmap decisions and is structured in two parts:
Key sections (Questions 1–29)
These questions focus on:

FpML usage statistics (versions, views and volumes)

Deprecation of legal and risk reporting views
-
Use of coding schemes via APIs
-
Support for the 2026 FX Definitions
-
Interest in an FpML-to-JSON representation
Other sections (Questions 30–65)

These questions explore reporting approaches, upgrade strategies, obstacles, tooling and conversion practices.

While optional, responses to these sections are highly influential in shaping the future direction of FpML.

Submission deadline: 1 June 2026
To support comprehensive and well-coordinated input, firms are encouraged to nominate an individual to coordinate responses and, where appropriate, submit multiple responses reflecting different business or technical perspectives.
