The description for the commodity code scheme is meaningless, as for a commodity code such as ‘CBT BO’ the description will say ‘A code for the BO commodity’. Also, the scheme description states ‘Contains a code representing a CFTC Part 20 covered commodity’, which is also of limited value.
I do not see the collateralTypeScheme introduced as part of the Third Working Draft for FpML Version 5.3 in the www.fpml.org/coding-scheme.
