Summary

The use of the abbreviation MIME should always be capitalized.

An example of misuse:

Indicates the type of media used to store the content. mimeType is used to determine the software product(s) that can read the content. MIME Types are described in RFC 2046.

    The Architecture Spec says:

    2.2.1 lowerCamelCase
An identifier conforming to lowerCamelCase convention MUST have:
-First word or *acronym* in lower case.

    2.2.2 UpperCamelCase
An identifier conforming to the UpperCamelCase convention MUST have:
-All words or *acronyms* with upper case first letter.

We have the precedent with FX where we ended up changing it to Fx (if I remember correctly) to be consistent with these rules.
